   That was fun.
   I got a little buck fever on the YAMATO, at first. I’ve been getting surprisingly good results at penetrating the armor on the high-tier battleships with MOSKVA’s guns, and I wanted to see if I could manage any kind of decent outcome with the YAMATO as well.
   Turns out that I couldn’t, and while I’ve got a not-terrible rate of fire, it’s not enough to make up for the lack of penetration. (DES MOINES on the other hand … totally different. I closed up to 4k on a YAMATO the other day with her, and did 71,000+ damage. Sank her and survived. ROF, baby!)
   That spread of torpedoes coming in from the GEARING, the ones that almost killed me? I saw those, and it was just a massive oh shit moment. I knew I was going to suck up at least 2 of them, no chance to avoid everything, and I was sure that I was dead. This would have been particularly painful, because not a minute before I’d just been talking a lot of shit to the other team- “I clubbed your TASHKENT like a baby seal, now where’s the rest of your DD’s? Oh Mister GEARING… come out come out wherever you are” etc. I was sure that was going to come back and bite me in the ass.
   Turned out okay in the end, though. And, damn, it was fun.
