We mentioned this the other day, that finally the Obama administration has loosened the rules of engagement just a touch to allow airpower to go after one of the most obvious target sets in Daesh controlled territory, the fuel tankers they use to sell oil on the black market.  Daesh controls roughly 1000 tankers. And in one night, two AC-130s and four A-10Cs were able to destroy 116 trucks.

Gee, maybe we should have tried that 15 months ago.

    We would have tried it only if Obama wanted us to win. Even this effort will be largely symbolic, when the dust settles.

    So the operation name “Tidal Wave II” has been quietly forgotten considering the fiasco that was “Tidal Wave I” of world war two.
    There are leaflets dropped to save the truckers, brave, living and willing truck drivers are harder to find than tanker trucks and tanker trucks are easier to find than oil and petroleum products.
    Next time kill the truckers and forget the leaflets.
