Mirage 2000 jets operating form Jordan and the UAE struck targets in Raqqa. The intelligence on target locations was provided by US sources. Which certainly raises the question, why the hell haven’t we struck those targets in the year or so we’ve been bombing?

…because we still do not at least understand the nature of this conflict…kid gloves should come off. We don’t bomb certain targets based on collateral damage assessments. We suffer condemnation for collateral damage or foment the ability for “them” to bomb/impact global targets, take your pick as I know my choice.

Its all pathetic theater, not war. How the hell does a reporter describe ten tactical fighters as a “massive strike”?

Farce. ISIS needs to do us a favor and quit hitting civvies and go for the politicians. Of course that brings to mind the joke about why sharks never attack swimming lawyers – professional courtesy.

I’m feeling better about the French response, esp. closing mosques at the center of the terrorists cells. The bombing is a good start, even though it is only 10 attack jets with 2 bombs each. I trust they have enough bombs. I think the French needed resupply during the Libyan campaign.

They should dedicate every day of bombing with the name of a victim. With extra bombs for the women victims.

Pity that the Armee d’la Air does not have the ability to Arc Light ISIS. I bet they would notice that.

Worse than that, it was only 20 bombs. It was more of a training exercise than an actual air strike.
