    The first time I ever got a close up look at a Hind was at Ft Bliss, the aviation guys there had some Mi-24s and Mi-17s that they used for “red air” OPFOR stuff as well as training aircrew for the combat advisor mission. I always wondered if one of those Hinds was the one they grabbed on that operation in Africa…

    Latest issue of Proceedings has a photo of a submarine control room in which everyone is wearing blueberries. Any kind of camo is stupid for a submarine crew, but somehow the blueberries seems particularly stupid.
