Years ago an old college friend was working on a project mapping the ocean floor. The captain went to take a leak, putting said friend in charge. Unfortunately, they were closer to port than anyone had realized. Our friend almost sinks this smallish ship crewed by a bunch of irate Frenchmen.

Yeah, it was the Calypso.
