    Deja vu, as it is written the Canadian Firearms Act makes owning a Ramset tool without possessing a firearms licence a Criminal Code offence. You’d think that someone in Washington would call up their counterparts in Canada & the UK and ask “I’m drafting a firearms law, what are the pitfalls I should look out for?”

    Another thing to watch out for is survival weapons on aircraft which are mandated by the FAA for flights over ‘remote areas’ ie Alaska. If part of the aircraft equipment is a survival rifle, does a background check now have to be performed every time a different pilot gets in the cockpit?
