And amazingly, given all the times I’ve been to Alabama, I’ve never managed to head south to tour her.

Highly recommend. A WWII submarine is birthed next to the Alabama and a great tour as well. I was impressed with the accessibility to nearly all of the ship.

It is a good tour. Actually went a couple times when I was working out of Mobile.

2,700 on a SoDak?? I’ve been on the Alabama and I have no idea just where you would cram in 2,700 crew, let alone the 1,800 figure usually cited.
