Well, I went out in a division with LT Rusty and Grump Wagon. I pretty quickly got knocked off, but LT Rusty went on to six, count ‘em, six kills in the Kamikaze, four of which were gun kills. Gun kills in a Japanese Tier V destroyer!

I doubt it. The problem with it is that you don’t have a lot of access to control player / team makeup. It would be a hell of a thing, though.
It would be absolute murder, also. Never mind the battleships- just a few Kagero and Shimakaze DDs would put paid to the US carriers within minutes of the battle’s start, probably before the first airstrike came home. 3 FLETCHERS and 4 lower-end destroyers (there’s no DE’s in WoWs, so probably have to substitute something like a CLEMSON or a NICHOLAS instead) would maybe get 2 of the BB’s and a couple of cruisers, but they wouldn’t last long at all, especially once the Japanese DDs were finished dealing with the carriers. SHIMAKAZE and KAGERO are lethal in WoWs. Multiple copies of each, with US CVE’s being low-end in the game, would just be agonizing.
