The chances are only about 1 in 4 that TSA would have found those in a carry-on.

    Question 2:
    Where are the launch systems?
    Question 3:
    What are they mounted on?
    Question 4:
Is the Secret Service taking into account the range and lethality of a Hellfire, when establishing things like no-fly zones for Air Force One, and what’s the stand-off range for rooftop activities around the White House?
‘Cos, I’m thinking that those nice people we’ve been droning to death might have it in mind to play a little bit of payback to the nice man who’s in charge of deciding who to hit. And, what better tool to do it with than one of our very own Hellfires?
Do the math. This could be very, very bad. I sincerely hope the Secret Service is on their toes with this one, and that they have practiced the whole “place self in way of Hellfire” drill.
And, yeah, the bad guys could be doing this in a lot of other ways, but the use of a Hellfire? Too poetic, too appealing to the Arab soul.

    To Kirk’s question four-
Lately when checking TFRs for flying, I’ve noticed that the VIP TFR now has a Large 30 or so nm outer ring where last year there was usually just a five mile ring around the VIP. I figured it was a little overkill for regular drone ops and stuff….

It now appears that the Lebanese Army was shipping these missiles back to the manufacturer, with full documentation included.
Gotta love the news media, and whatever genius within Serbian customs that didn’t check the paperwork. Yeah, the dogs alerted on a couple of missiles. No shit, they’ll do that when they’re trained to respond to explosives, and there are explosives residues.
Question I have, though, is this: WTF are they doing, shipping live missiles back through normal airline freight? If those are, indeed, live, Imma gonna be rethinking my flight plans if they ever include Air Serbia…
