The Klub missile is basically a Russian clone of our Tomahawk missile.

    And who spotted them incoming….
Both Azerbaijan and Turkey are hostile to Russian Friendly Armenia.

A Flotilla of Cruise missiles flying through their territory hammers home that those missiles could be entering their territory and blowing stuff up…
Unless they crossed Iran and Northern Iraq, which is essentially they crossed Iran straight in to ISISistan, but I’d bet Turkey got taunted, and didnt see them coming in time to intercept.

Russia just performed a real world demonstration test of their Klub missiles. They now know how accurate they really are, how reliable they are, and maybe if anyone could see and intercept them.

Did they attempt to launch 26, 27, or 30?
    Where did they hit?
Did they all make it to Syria?
Did they overfly any hostile SAM belts, or did they fly through “friendly” territory?

They appear to have flown through Iran and northern Iraq, from what I can tell.

I don’t see any real point to launching from where they did, and from the platforms they used, except as a tech demonstrator and one big live-fire training for the crews.
