During the stop, officers found 2.7 grams of methamphetamine under the driver’s seat and arrested the driver, identified as Gabriel Garcia, 30, on a charge of possession of methamphetamine in a drug-free zone. Police say the stop was within 1,000 feet of West Elementary School.

Another 29.5 grams of methamphetamine and a set of digital weighing scales were in the female passenger’s purse, Swanton said.

Ashley Cecilia Castaneda, 31, was arrested on the same charge, but while being transported to the McLennan County Jail, she reportedly told an officer she had a Smith and Wesson .22-caliber semiautomatic handgun lodged inside her vagina.

Had it been a Smith and Wesson Model 29 I would have been more impressed….

I am sure someone, somewhere, will protest that a woman should have the final say over her own body.  Which will likely conflict with her unquestioning belief that everybody should be disarmed.

I have only one question.  Does Bianchi make a leather holster for that?

    Re your comment about a Model 29: Back in the 70s and 80s, several biker gangs held “hide the zucchini” contests at their rallies to acclimate their better halves to concealing large objects (dope stashes and guns) inside their female parts. The record seizure from such a carrier, as far as I know, was a 6-inch Colt Python, wrapped in plastic to protect her delicate parts from the sharp corners on the gun. Not much smaller than an N-frame Smith.
    I really don’t understand the legs this story is getting. Hiding guns there is an old tradition; this is a dog-bites-man story.
    And I really wonder if the hidden gun was the pictured Model 61 Escort, which hasn’t been made in 35 years, or if some lazy reporter pulled a generic “.22 Smith & Wesson pistol” pic off the web.

    Okay, I’ll give you the humor tag, but the blogosphere in general is giving this story almost as much play as Hillary’s emails. I blame Bush, or maybe global warming.

    Yes, Bianchi does make a holster for that. It is pre-scented with a fish smell, and has a string on it.

    I’m fairly certain that’s not the actual weapon in question. There’s too much bluing left. That environment, the bluing would go away very quickly, followed by immediate corrosion.

    Please don’t ask how I know this for a fact.
