    Back when future SOCOM Commander William McRaven was just another O-5 in NAVSPECWARCOM, he wrote a book of SOF case-studies called “The Theory of Special Ops”. This raid was one of the case studies and McRaven did an outstanding job covering the planning and execution of the operation. I highly recommend the book, as well as the chapter on St. Nazaire
