It’s a crap deal but after Iraq and Afghanistan how many American and allied lives are you willing to spend on the military enforcement option?
There is absolutely no reason why at least the duty officers at recruiting offices should not be armed. But this has nothing to do with Iran.

Opposing arms don’t kill good soldiers; dumb fucking ROEs kill good soldiers. Everything else is simply accessory to the fact.
