Yet again the journalists keep hot what would otherwise, and deservedly be quickly yesterday’s news. It bears mentioning that those state flags incorporating the Confederate Battle Flag did so in the 60’s and not starting from the end of the Civil War. The Battle Flag is merely a symbol with different meanings to different people. The appropriate flag would be the true Stars and Bars Confederate Flag for heritage purposes and not the Battle Flag. Just one man’s thoughts.

Chief Justice William Howard Taft once said ” We must afoord the greatest protection to the speech we find most offensive, for if that is banned, when will our speech follow?” I am a strict Taftian on the matter of free speech.

We’re in the last days of the US. A country that hates its history is doomed.

And aint this a kick in the nads…all those states which incorporated the CBF in the 60’s were run by Democrats, the very same party which is so vociferously clamoring for it’s banning.
