The only reason I can see for the flag would be pass interference. What was it actually for? I don’t know who was defense, although I’m guessing Dallas.

    So, wot really hoppened?

It was a pass interference call on the corner.

Gronkowski for the Patriots made such a catch, left-handed, against the Broncos two weeks ago. To see someone 6-6 and 265 do that is pretty mind-boggling.

With all due credit for pure athleticism, the cynic in me says that if you get paid as much as you do, you’d better perform… How much per catch? (Makes me wonder how much I get paid for each training or real-world operation I go on, or “do my job” each year. I might have to do the math.)

If you could draw 70,000 ticket-buying customers per operation, you would get paid a lot more.

    So NY was on defense?

No, NY was on offense. The call was pass interference on Dallas, declined.

There’s a close up picture out there. Beckham pretty much snagged the ball with thumb and forefinger. It really was a stunning catch.

True enough. Maybe we should go with corporate sponsors and sell tickets to watch training rotations. Live fires cost more, and two-way LFXs are the priciest. Part of your report card hinges on unit rep in the form of ticket sales. I like it. I couldn’t get a butterbar to finish my unit t-shirt before I left my last job, but now they would be flying off the shelves.

Can you lump “marketing and ticket sales” under S-4?

    URR:

Marketing would be an S-2 function; ticket sales to S-4.

I think I will put an S5 in the battalion and give him all of that stuff…. can’t afford to have logistics or intelligence disrupted by ticket sales.
