The 1st Battalion, 227 Aviation Regiment has a long proud history.  Former member, and long time friend of the blog, Outlaw 13 collaborated with several others, and international film and television star Nick Searcy, to produce a great tribute to the unit.  It’s well worth your time.

    Pretty good “propaganda.” Vimeo had an annoying quirk. It may be my dsl sin’t fast enough, but I got some annoying “jerks” in the film. This went on even with, it seemed, the film download well ahead of the point I was seeing.

    Too bad I didn’t make it through the program in ’76 as I might have been part of what was seen in that film. Cursed ligaments!
